Backyard solution to energy crisis

In this article, permaculture co-founder David Holmgren talks about the potential that  suburban backyards offer for food security and social insurance – and says that ‘retrofitting the suburbs’ for food production involves rebuilding the structure of local community.  He believes a revolution in society will result.
