Domain Registration
Rules governing domain name registration in Australia are controlled by auDa, the Australian policy authority and industry self-regulatory body.
To hold a .com.au domain name, you must be a commercial entity, and have a registration number such as an ACN or ABN. The auDa site has more details on .au rules. Top level domains (eg .com) have less restrictions, however there are far fewer names still available.

- Web hosting includes storage of your site files on a top-notch commercial web-server, email, security, backups – see below for more details.
- Pricing quoted is for hosting and registration services only. Design, content (text, images, sound) and coding of the website, and updates to pages, are charged separately. Our rates are very reasonable, but because we build every website according to the client’s needs, we can’t give indicative pricing here. Contact us to discuss your webdesign needs.

- Total data transfer/month represents the sum of all inbound and outbound data transferred from your account. Data transfer consists of: web (pages downloaded from your site), email and FTP (files uploaded) traffic.
- Individual SSL certificates are provided by Thawte and include a charges of $60/year for provision of an individual IP address required when using a personal SSL certificate. (This is something you might need if you had an online payment facility.)
